Made to measure

The first and most important feature of the BellaVista System technology is that it is made to measure. Every screen will be made with precision to within a millimetre. We don’t have fixed heights or widths for each module so we can listen to your needs and make the product suitable for you.

Measurements

BellaVista Plus: TOP-DOWN movement

• Context of use: large screens or shop windows for direct sales to passers-by (for example, ice cream parlours, wrap and focaccia shops, giving on to the street)
• Maximum measurements: L 3000 x H 3000. A table showing the maximum measurements possible is given below.

Solutions:

• Lower fix glass + one moving glass
• Lower fix glass + one moving glass + one upper fix glass
• Lower fix glass + two moving glasses
• Lower fix glass + two moving glasses +one upper fix glass

BellaVista Plus: BOTTOM-UP movement

• Context of use: Hatches or shop windows for direct sales to passers-by (for example, ice cream parlours, wrap bars, bakers, giving on to the street).  Usually based on low walls, benches or fixed lower parts.
• Maximum measurements: L 3000 x H 3000. A table showing the maximum measurements possible is given below.
• We emphasize the absence of a lower outline.
• Manual Security Pin when the glass is up (only Hatch models)

Solutions:

• One moving glass + upper fix glass
• Lower fix glass + one moving glass + one upper fix glass
• Two moving glasses + upper fix glass
• Lower fix glass + two moving glasses +one upper fix glass

BellaVista Plus: variants

• Fixed fanlight: a useful solution for windows higher than 2500 mm. The use of a fixed fanlight enables the beginning of the openable height to be maintained within 1,100 mm, so is excellent for contact with customers.
• Fixed lower part: ideal when, for example, a sales counter is below.
• An aluminium beam: giving strength, it allows glass of less thickness to be used, thus also reducing the overall weight of the screen.
• Mixed solutions:  it is possible to unite the variants described above, creating an ad hoc window for your shop.
• The fixed parts can also be made with blank panels.

BellaVista Plus: vertical sections

The box can be inside or outside. The finishing of the box can be the same or different from that of the outlines. In the following images the protrude of the upper box is internal (it's possible to have even the external versions). All the measures are in mm.

A: the lower glass raises Y= total height moving glass: (Y-156)/2. The moving glass can be almost half of the height. Please note that there isn't a lower profile. We put a trasparent lean seal on the lower part of the moving glass.	B: the upper glass goes down Y= total height moving glass: (Y-156)/2. The moving glass can be almost half of the total height.	C: The central glass can raise or go down You can decide X measure according with the other glasses measures (K) for example: X=K when the moving glass raises.
When necessary it's possible to add an horizontal profile (30 mm) for example for bar display or frmt shop windows. It' s also possible to use panels insted of glasses for the fix parts.
Horizontal section: the upper box is only 135 mm thick, it protrudes towards inside in order to make easy the manintenance.

BellaVista Plus: Section (2 moving glasses model)

Vertical Section

Other Important features:

• Electric movement (220V). With remote or wall button.
• he mobile panel can be blocked in any position
• Single or group movement
• The possibility of bringing several modules closer together.
• Single electricity connection, there is an electrical feedthrough in each module.
• The lower part is in transparent or opaque glass up to 24 mm thick, or with a blank panel.
• The finishings can be personalized: the upper box can also be finished differently from the rest.
• Installation takes place through only lateral fixing to an existing structure.  There is no need, therefore, for upper fixing and no weight bears on the slab or upper beam.

If it rains...

Gm Morando has designed the screen so that it provides protection against the weather

The position of the glass and the transparent seals (in red in the drawing) have been designed to reduce draughts and infiltration to the minimum.

The external superimposition of the mobile glass panel (dark blue) compared to the fixed one (pale blue), ensures that the water (large arrows) beating against the external glass flows downwards.  The transparent seals help to achieve the purpose.

Materials, motors and components

The mobile panel is in glass that is tempered (optional laminated and tempered up to 10 mm) with polished edges.

The bottom part can be in laminated or opaque glass up to a thickness of 24 mm or a blind panel.

All the materials guarantee excellent quality and no need for maintenance. Motors and all the components are made in Italy.

The electrical motors are correctly sized according to dimensions. We provide 220V motors with integrated electronic control and electronic limit swich regulations (this guarantees that the regulations do not change during time). Single electricity connection, there is an electrical feedthrough in each module.

No parts need lubrification or planned maintenance.

Installation: only side fixing

Gm Morando pays special attention to the stages of the assembly. This translates into construction details aimed at simplifying the setting up and thus installation is faster.

Still with a view to simplifying assembly, there is lower seating where it is possible to conceal the electrical connections, carried out with a single through cable.

Fixing is necessary only on the side struts.  Upper fixings are not required.  There is no weight bearing on the upper structures.

Indoor (green in the picture) or outdoor (orange) connections are possible, i.e. based internally or externally on an existing structure.  The box can protrude either inside or outside the window.

Safety

The screen has been designed with special attention to the aspects and regulations of accident prevention and safety:  for example, the mobile glass never actually touches the lower frame; it stops a few cm short so that any danger of crushing is avoided.

Nevertheless, we must point out that these types of products (as, for example, in electrical rolling shutters), are defined as articles with “under supervision” type and responsible automation: this means that the operator activating the movement must be present in order to check that no dangerous situations arise.
